IMPORTANT: PREPARING FOR YOUR READING
BEFOREHAND:
-
Make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before.
-
Avoid alcohol or other substances for best connection.
-
Leading up to the reading, make sure you’ve had something to eat so that’s not a distraction.
-
Just prior to the reading, try to be in as relaxed a state as possible.
-
Prepare your questions (see sample questions). This will direct your reading in a way that provides greater connection and detail as you can gain the optimal results for the area of life you are interested in. It is a collaborative experience.
-
Think about and be prepared if you want to set an intention for the reading. This may be a focus like love life, finances, business, career, an upcoming desired move, etc.
-
Pick out a quiet space where you will not be interrupted during your reading.
-
Have a glass of water at hand.
-
Feel free to take notes during your reading, or the recording may be available for your review if you would like.
DURING:
-
Remain relaxed and as focused during your reading, free of distractions. I don't recommend driving during your reading.
-
Listen closely and be present for yourself as the information is shared so you can gather the meaning for you and apply it to your life.
-
Be prepared for the possibility that unexpected emotions may surface.
-
If a question comes up, don’t hesitate to ask for clarity.
-
Your questions will not clue me in to the answers, it will only guide the direction that you desire to go and clarify the path that I am uncovering.
AFTER:
-
Spiritual work can require additional energy. Stay hydrated after your reading to maintain your physical/spiritual balance.
-
Sit with your reading and allow the meaning to emerge based on your knowledge of the context and implications for your life.
-
Be prepared for a need for rest and relaxation due to the multilevel interaction that you've had in the experience.
-
Journaling is useful to keep track of what comes in your development.
-
Movement is good to help integrate the experience. Do light exercise, go for a walk and take in some sunlight.
